For example if you have defined your own set of key commands that you want to keep you can replace the corresponding file (Key Commands.xml) in the freshly created folder by a copy of the same file taken from the folder you've disabled by renaming.Īlternative ways: Instead of renaming it, you also can move the preferences folder of your program from Steinberg's application data folder to another place, for example the Desktop. Initialising the program's preferences does not necessarily mean that you lose all settings. And exactly this could be the source of errors. Otherwise the program would try to comply with them when creating fresh preferences. Please note: Make sure to hide or remove preferences folders of all installations of your Steinberg program. In the picture, there is a comparaison of Cubase 11 and 9.5 at 4K and 1080. I uninstalled NVIDIA GeForce apps and the problem is still there. It seems like the UI in Cubase 11 Pro is “stuck” in 1920x1080 which scales down the UI in 4K. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Cubase 11 Pro two times, the second time with the update, I have also installed updates for 3rd part plugins and nothings had changed. However, when I use the same plugins in Cubase 9.5 Pro at 1080 or 4K, the UI is at the right size. When my screen resolution is set at 1920x1080, Cubase 11 Pro’s UI is fine. I got a 4K (3820x2160) display with a NVIDIA GTX 1060 and when I use 3rd party plugins with Cubase 11 Pro, the UI is ridiculously small and quite hard to read. I’ve been using Cubase for the past eight years, I recently switched form Cubase 9.5 pro to Cubase 11 pro, but I am encountering display issues that some of you may have experienced.
